More wins...

We are on a really good roll - (and hopefully we will keep going girls!!) the basketball team and the GAA teams both won their matches last week.

Well done girsl!

School visits....

The 4th,5th and 6th class girls were treated to a visit from the Author Maeve McMahon who spoke to the girls about her book Riding out the Hurricane.

The 1st and 2nd class girls also had a visit from Natasha Mac a Bhaird the author of Olannah's Big Day out, a book about the experience of a little Nigerian girl in Ireland.

Hopefully these authors might give the girls some ideas on how to spend their National Book Day vouchers that were given out recently in the school.

Good News - on the Double....

Good News to share on a sunny bright Monday morning.  Girls from 5th & 6th class participated in a Credit Union Inter-school quiz and although they did'nt win it, they placed really well.  We are very proud of them.

Even better news is that the school Basketball team won their match against Malahide with a fabulous win - well done girls, keep up the great work!
